So Maggie found not one but two dead mice on our property. I hadn't realized what she was going for except she kept ending up at the same spot. On further scrutiny I noticed something black and squished. Well, I nearly screamed from disgust. I don't like dead animals!! Maggie on the other hand does not seem to mind then and even enjoyed chewing on it for a few seconds.
My question is, if she had been successful in consuming the dead mouse would anything happen to her? Would her cute little body allow her to digest it or would she have thrown it up?
I cringe at the thought of it.
